Christmas In The Air...

So, that daily posting thing kinda came to a halt. Soz about that. Had a bit of a mental weekend and the state my mind was in, it wasn't a good idea for me to put my thoughts out on the world wide web.

So, if you are a passionate reader of this blog and were upset that your daily bursts of wit, humour and all around awesomeness were temporarily stopped - I'm sorry. I'm back, I promise (totally got Take That's Back For Good stuck in my head now.)

ANYWAYS. Something exciting happened today. I went to get my Sainsbury's meal deal (Sainsbury's shits all over the other supermarkets in this department) and... there it was.

Yup - the holy grail of Autumn/Winter. The sandwich that combines turkey, stuffing and cranberry into one delectable, easy to grab lunch.

Okay, the sandwich is good. But it's not just the taste that's amazing. It's the fact that seeing that made me super excited for Christmas. Anyone who knows me will know it's my favourite time of year. It's the one point I take a few weeks off, chill the fuck out, eat loads of amazing food, smell all the amazing smells, chill with all the amazing people, and lots of other amazing things.

I know some peeps aren't too fond of it, and that's cool. Everyone's allowed their own opinion.

But, you know... if anyone wants to come and buy all the festive candles with me, they're welcome to...

OH. AND - I've been listening to the new Scouting For Girls album loads since it came out on Friday. It's adorable. Sickly sweet pop with cheesy as hell lyrics and far too many catchy melodies. There's also the most perfect Christmas song at the end. I've popped it just above. Try listening to that and telling me you don't feel all festive and shit.

Much love,

Fun Fridays...

Yeah, I know today's title is lame, but I'm knackered, give me a break.

I've had a super fun day today in the big city of London. I went down for the 4Music show I was telling ya'll about in the last post - Shout Outs, and it was just as crazy & entertaining as you'd expect a live pop culture show to be.

I met some awesome peeps, including some awesome YouTubers (when I'm less of a zombie I'll link them all up!) and... Ollie and Toff from Made in Chelsea! Yup, random as hell, but they were lovely and a pleasure to star alongside.

Hopefully, I'll be back down in a few weeks time for another episode. I think my favourite thing about today though - it reaffirmed to me that presenting/YouTubing is what I went to do. When I finally get my MacBook sorted in the coming weeks, I'm gonna get straight on it. I've got so many ideas man, and I can't wait to share them all with you.

Oh, and if you follow me on Twitter, you'll be glad to know that I did get a Pumpkin Spice Latte in the end. And, my basic cravings were fulfilled.

Time to sleep now. I'll probs give a more in depth overview/perspective at some point over the next few days. For now, my duvet is calling.

Much love,
Sam x

Trippin' Thursdays...

So, tonight is quite exciting. Why? Cos I'm preparing for tomorrow. What's happening tomorrow? I'm off to London. Why?

Okay, I'll stop this now. Tomorrow I head to London to be a guest on a 4Music show on National telly. Yup, at 4pm tomorrow you'll see my pretty face lighting up your telly box, brightening up your Friday afternoon with thoughts on the latest music vids and other media shizzle. The show is called Shout Outs, and you can check the trailer HERE.

Speaking of shout outs, much love to Jess Taylor who got me involved!

Most of you will know I'm hoping to move into presenting, so this kinda thing is a perfect training ground, and networking opportunity. I'm buzzing for it. And I just love being in London, it really is a beautiful city.

Now, I need to go and do those really helpful things like work out how to actually get there. Yeah, I should probs do that now.

Much love,
Sam x

Wired Wednesdays...

Thought I'd set myself a fun little challenge of coming up with a relevant pun for each day of this week. Bossing it, I know.

I'm on my fourth cup of coffee if you're wondering the context of today's title.

So, today... well, I'm not entirely sure what to write about. Hadn't really planned this far ahead. Oops. Soooo, I thought I'd talk about one of the loves in my life. Interior design.

Anyone who knows me will know I'm an aesthetically driven person. Looks are everything to me. And considering I've been lucky enough to have a place of my own for nearly two years now, I've also managed to turn five empty box rooms into a nice little space that I'm proud of.

BUT. After one too many hours on Tumblr, I've decided I'm gonna change it up. I'm gonna get wooden floors, some new white furniture (all white everythaaang), and get some rustic shizz thrown in too. On a side note, has anyone ever bought that fake brick wallpaper? Does it look decent? Considering getting it, but don't wanna fork out if it looks like I drew bricks on a wall.

Anyway, here's some of my inspo. If you have any interiors you love the look of, fire them my way. I love looking at 'em!

Much love,
Sam x
