So, one thing I didn't point out yesterday was that I'm pretty sick. I don't like to moan about it. I've never taken a day off work sick in my life and that is something I'm quite proud of. Today, I broke that habit and had my first day off, but I'm glad I did. I needed it.
One thing that I've found really interesting with the rise of popularity in YouTubers/vloggers is how much more open people are about mental health nowadays. The stigma (albeit, very slowly) is being removed. And it's so important. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and should be recognized and respected the same way.
Finding time for yourself is so important, and in today's mad world where we're always connected, it can be hard. I'm the worst for never switching off. But, today, I didn't check my emails, I ate tons of cookies and watched silly videos on YouTube. And I feel so happy inside. It's almost comical.
I'm not sure there is a huge point to this post other than making clear, it is okay to feel stressed. It is okay to feel pressured. The important thing is just knowing that there is always someone to talk to.
Anyways, I'm off to make my sixth cup of tea today. Mmmmm tea.
P.S - Am I the only one who's parents think Lucozade is the cure to all ilnesses? :P
