I've been reading a lot of self-help articles recently. Here is one that I related to all too well.
This past year I've learnt a lot and I'm really proud of the person I've become, but there's still plenty of things that I'd like to improve about myself.
One is my tendency to have a great idea and not act on it. That all stops today. First thing on my agenda - write something, every day.
There's this theory that's been knocked around the internet for ages, that if you write 1000 words a day, you'll not only get better at writing, but as you're forcing yourself to write, you'll come up with some golden ideas too. It's the classic theme - you've got to wade through the shit to get to the good stuff.
So, starting today, I'm going to write something, and publish it on here, every single day. I'm not going with the 1000 word thing, at least not yet. I just want to start getting my ideas and thoughts down somewhere.
It's not going to be exclusively my entrepreneurial (yep, I had to use spell check for that) idea of the day though. I might just write about a piece of music I've been enjoying recently. A current news topic. Something that I've noticed from day to day life. You get the gist. Basically, I guess I'm saying that I'm gonna start using this blog like an actual blog. Oh, and another thing, I need to stop saying I so much.
This is more a journey of self-discovery for myself more than anything. My life is rather hectic, and I go through so many moods and thoughts in a day, it makes sense to write them down.
Let's see if I can keep to it!
